Our specialty

New deck builds

From a simple ground-level platform to a multi-level deck with stairs, lighting and railings, we handle the whole job: design, materials, framing and finish. Solid framing comes first, because a deck is only as good as what's underneath it.

  • Custom layouts sized to your home and yard
  • Composite and wood options, with honest advice on both
  • Stairs, railings, picture-frame borders and step lighting
  • Clean job site, start to finish

Deck repairs

Soft or rotted boards, wobbly railings, loose stairs or tired framing. We find the cause, fix it properly, and tell you straight whether a repair or a rebuild makes more sense.

Staining & sealing

Bring grey, weathered wood back to life. We clean and prep the boards, then apply a quality stain and sealer that protects against sun and water.

Why we love composite

Looks like wood. Doesn't need the upkeep.

Composite decking is our favorite material to build with. It costs more up front than pressure-treated wood, but most homeowners get that back in the weekends and stain they never have to spend.

Questions

Good to know.

Don't see your question? Just ask us.

How much does a new deck cost?

It depends on size, height, material, railings and stairs. Composite costs more than pressure-treated wood up front, but it saves you years of staining and upkeep. After a free visit we'll give you a written, itemized quote, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

How long does it take to build a deck?

Most residential decks take a few days to a couple of weeks on site, depending on size, design and weather. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote, and any permit time is planned in.

Do I need a permit?

Many decks do, especially raised decks or decks attached to the house. We'll go over the requirements for your project and your area before any work starts.

Do you repair decks you didn't build?

Yes. We fix boards, railings, stairs and framing on existing decks. If the structure isn't worth saving, we'll tell you honestly and walk you through your options.

How often should a wood deck be stained?

Usually every 2–3 years, depending on sun exposure and wear. A simple test: sprinkle some water on the boards. If it soaks in instead of beading up, it's time.

Can you replace my old wood boards with composite?

Often, yes. If the framing underneath is sound and spaced correctly for composite, we can resurface it. We inspect the structure first so the new boards sit on a solid base.
